AutoRuns by Microsoft (Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell) is excellent at displaying all the files that are set to run automatically when your computer starts. Over time you install and remove programs either manually or by simply upgrading software – too often, software uninstall programs leave old files in the autorun section; remove these orphaned files and you’ll speed up the computer.
