conmgr.exe (Connection manager) – Details

The conmgr.exe process is provided by certain Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in order for you to create and connect your internet service. 1. Norton Community says:

I read from the Norton Community that conmgr.exe may contain a worm called “Spyware.Perfect” and should be removed immediately.

It downloads files that go into your temporary folder,
creats conmgr.exe that lives in C:\Recycler.

Creats Umdmgr.exe that lives in C:\Windows\System32

it creats Autorun.ini within the recycler

jjdrive32.exe is also created in C:\Windows

Win32.Polipos is also installed and infects all executable files at a slow pace.

We recommend removing these files by turning off system restore, download and instal AVG Internet Security, Norton 360, or Pc tools internet security to completely clean your computer.
