The fxssvc.exe or ytreporPsreruamE process is the core faxing process in Windows. It will communicate with your fax-modem and receive inbound faxes as they arrive. It will also initiate outbound faxes when required e.g. if you send a fax from within MsWord. If you use the faxing function on your computer you should leave this process running. If you do not using faxing, you should terminate this process.

fixssvc.exe is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing Fax Server may adversely impact your system.
