We cover hacker blogs and list some of the more popular ones found on the internet.
This page contains a list of hacker blogs. Before you get excited and accuse me of promoting hacking and hackers in general, I should first explain what a hacker blog really is.
White Hat Hacker Blog
A hacker blog is defined as run a weblog or journal that discusses the security risks and vulnerabilities associated with computer software. There are two types of hacker blogs, the White Hat Hacker Blog and the Black Hat Hacker Blog. There is a big difference in the two hacker blogs, white is designed for good and helps users, programmers and software companies discover vulnerabilities before they are released to the public. They also write hacking software for the purpose of education, such as tutorials to help understand how to secure your software.
Black Hat Hacker Blog
A Black Hat Hacker Blog releases vulnerabilities to the public before making the software companies aware they exist. This type of hacker blog also develops software for criminal purposes, such as key loggers designed to capture and steal your private information.
Many security experts look for hacker blogs to enhance their level of knowledge and can find some very useful information; however, visit the wrong hacker blog and you could end up getting hacked yourself!
The white hat hacker blog is what I’ll be focusing in on. As I discover ethical hacker blogs, I’ll list them below and provide you with a description of each. If you know of a blog dedicated to ethical hacking, then please let me know and I’ll list it below.
The hacker blog list is currently being compiled and I’ll post them soon.
