The lexbces.exe process is used by the Lexmark ‘MarkVision’ software when configuring the settings for your Lexmark printer’s network card. If you do not have a Lexmark printer, or your Lexmark printer does not have a network card, you should terminate this process. Otherwise, you should only terminate this process if it is causing problems for your system.

    I also have the exact same situation. I run XP Home SP2, never had a lexmark printer connected, LEXBCES.EXE is in caps along with LEXPPS.EXE and both self execute when you kill them :(

    LEXBCES.EXE shows up in CAPS under the task manager under win XP, im afraid this is spyware or a virus b/c this computer has never had a lexmark printer or software on it. Please email me if this could be true. It seems that today all of a sudden I am also not able to log in to my stocks account, could a hijacker be the culprit?
