This scam comes to you as a lady on her death bed with millions to give away for the right cause. It’s designed to make you think she made a mistake contacting you and targets those that would take advantage of the situation.
I’ve posted the email below for your review but remember that it’s all a scam and should you respond, you will not only lose your money, you’ll lose your identity as well!
Thank you for your reply. My name is Mrs. Hannah Abery; a 79 year old lady presently undergoing palliative intensive care in my residence in Hong Kong. I spent all my life in The United Kingdom with my late husband Dr. Thomas K. Abery who died in a Plane crash on Monday the 7th of September 1998 while in transit from New York to Geneva.
My husband left me a fortune worth millions of Pounds. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 3 years ago and my understanding is that I have now reached the terminal stages of the disease. I have therefore been inspired to donate a portion of my fortune to charity through a complete stranger and I wish that you and your family be beneficiaries of 60% of the funds. This comes as a result of an anonymous sponsorship of my husband’s investment portfolio years ago. Please accept my sincere offer.
I got your contact email address from a business directory and picked you randomly for this cause. I decided to WILL/donate the sum of 2,500,000.00 (Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Pounds Sterling) to you for the good work of mankind to help orphans, less privileged, widows and the humanitarian aid following the aftermath of natural disasters.
At the moment I cannot take any telephone calls and I barely could complete this email with assistance because of my failing health, please pardon any discrepancies. My lawyer in The United Kingdom is aware of my decision and has been instructed to arrange the transfer of the designated funds to you.
Contact my lawyer immediately for further instructions via his personal email address which I use in communicating with him:

I will be undergoing major surgery tomorrow morning and hope this is not the last email you receive from me. Please pray for me.
I wish you all the best and may the good Lord bless you abundantly, and please use the funds judiciously and always extend the good work to others.
NOTE: The funds in question has been insured to its real value so that deduction cannot be made until it gets to you for security reasons. My lawyer and legal adviser for over 14 years would selflessly assist you with this process.
I will appreciate your utmost confidentiality in this matter until the task is accomplished as I do not want anything to jeopardize my last wish. Please ensure that you adhere to the advice/instructions of my lawyer.
