What the site is
AuditMyPC offers free reference pages and free tools: a port database, a speed test, a sitemap generator, a website monitor, and a handful of smaller utilities. There are no paid plans and nothing to buy. Most tools need no signup at all; the website monitor asks for an email address so it can send you the alerts you request, and that is all the address is used for. We may add, change, or retire any part of the site at any time.
Fair use of the tools
- Submit only websites you own, or have permission to act for, to the sitemap generator and the website monitor. The crawler and the monitor checks identify themselves, the crawler respects robots.txt, and we rate-limit use so the service stays available for everyone. We may pause or remove a monitor at any time if it causes trouble for us or for the site being watched.
- Run the port scanner only against a connection you are responsible for. It always tests the address you are connecting from, so at work, at school, on a hotel network or on shared wifi, that address belongs to the network rather than to you, and testing it is their call rather than yours.
- Do not disrupt the site, flood it with automated requests, or try to work around a rate limit or a block.
- If you find a security weakness, please tell us at the contact in our security.txt rather than exploiting it.
What the results mean
Our tools and pages report what they can observe, and observations have limits. A port lookup, a speed reading, or a generated sitemap is information to act on, not a certification that anything is safe, secure, or correct. The website monitor reports what our checks observed from our server at the times shown; it is not proof that a site is up or down for anyone else. Nothing on this site is professional security advice for your specific situation.
The port scanner is a look at the ports you asked about, from one place on the internet, at one moment. A port that did not answer today can answer tomorrow if something on your router changes, and a run that was interrupted tells you less than it appears to. It reports what came back and nothing more. It does not certify that anything is safe, and it does not give you a grade.
No warranty, and a limit on liability
The site and everything on it are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, Monetizers LLC is not liable for any damages that come from using the site or relying on anything it reports. If you are unhappy with the site, the remedy is to stop using it. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Our content
The pages, the port write-ups, and the tools are ours. Read them, link to them, quote them with credit. Do not copy the database or large parts of the site for republication.

Changes, governing law, and contact
