Website Monitoring

Welcome to the AuditMyPC website monitoring service, a free and easy way to monitor your site, be it a complete crash, unauthorized content changes or ports and services appearing were none were before.

AuditMyPC Website MonitoringWhen you see this icon, you know the website displaying the icon undergoes regular security audits for unauthorized changes. You can be confident that the owner is taking steps to ensure a safe and friendly website experience!

There has been an incredible demand for website monitoring by our visitors, so we have created just such a service. Not only will this help notify you when your server is being hacked, but can prevent loss of traffic and being labeled as an unsafe site!

Search engines send bots out to scour the internet looking for websites and their content on a daily basis, but deep crawls only happen every so often. Miss one due to the server being down, or worse, should that bot discover malicious content on your website (from being hacked, etc), you may end up losing your ranking while your competitors move past you.

Free Website Monitoring

What makes our service different than others is the unique way in which we audit websites. Rather than blindly pinging your site, we monitor your content, ports and load time!

Website monitoring is currently only available to government agencies and should be ready for public release soon. If you would like to be notified when this new service becomes available, simply get on our Security Information mailing list and we’ll drop you note once it’s ready.

If you are in charge of a government website and would like to start monitoring your server, simply drop me an email or leave a comment (which I’ll make sure stays private) and I’ll get you started.

Sounds like a great service. We (a swedish government agency) would like to monitor if any new services is appearing in our C-class IP range. Would that feature be available?

    Hi Len,

No Charge at all, it’s all free and I’ve sent you an email on how to get started. It’s an extremely easy way to help stay on top of sites and unauthorized changes, especially when you’re managing 40!

Let me know if you don’t receive that email.

    Best regards,

    Jim

Hello … our IT Security section has a link over to AuditMyPC which in turn links to this Website Monitor. Is there a charge for this service? I help support about 40 local government websites, and this might be a nice way to monitor that they are up and running properly.

    Thanks.

  11. Jim says:

Currently, the website monitor is available for government sites only. I’m working on the public version.

    Hello Nizar,

I’ve been plugging away at this every day for the last few months and I’m still working on verification issues with the private sector, something that’s not needed with government sites.

  17. nizar says:

i would like to monitor my website, when will this be available?

  18. Rezzie says:

This is one brilliant idea! There should be someone independent to monitor if our websites are down.

  19. Dale says:

Yes maybe someone can help me. I am looking for a software program or service that can do the following – check every few minutes to see if my web url is up and working and if it is NOT up and working, immediately substitute a WORKING url in place of that main non working url, (this way I have NO downtime whatsoever) and also notify me that the main url is down. Does this exist and if so can someone makes some good suggestions. Thanks! :)

  20. James Cullinan says:

    Great initiative, once again :)
