Welcome! AuditMyPC.com is a vulnerability assessment, privacy test, research and security information site. This site was designed to promote security awareness – free of charge!
I originally started this site in 2000 and moved it to AuditMyPC.com a couple of years after. The site was created because I desired a greater understanding of security and in-depth web based programming. I was also motivated by the lack of similar sites and the need to perform remote security scans without limitations, fees or long registration requirements.
The information this site provides about your system is available to every site on the internet. The purpose here is not to scare, but to make you aware.
PC Audit
For many years this site offered live PC Audits of all 65,535 (TCP / UDP) ports, plus user input scans that let a visitor test only the ports he or she needed. That heritage lives on in our port database, which documents thousands of TCP and UDP ports – what runs on them, and what to watch out for – and in free tools like the Firewall Test, Internet Speed Test, Digital Footprint privacy check and Anti Spam trap. We were also proud to be recognized as a security conscious site (Security Kudos).
New ideas are always welcome! If you have any suggestions, comments or concerns, feel free to leave me a comment; if it’s a private matter, simply mention it in your comment and I’ll make sure it stays private. Every comment on this site is moderated (needs to be approved before being made public) to help prevent abuse.
A great deal of site enhancements have come from these suggestions, and many late nights and early mornings are spent programming these changes.
