Port 65000 sits outside of IANA’s formally registered assignments. This port falls within the dynamic/private port range, which IANA explicitly does not register; these ports are intended for ephemeral or temporary use. It does not currently appear in the IDS rulesets or malware activity indicators in our data sources.
